Adria Poindexter has been involved in Rotary since 2007, beginning in Lake Elsinore, CA. She and her husband Steve moved to Arizona in 2021 for Steve’s work, and Adria began the hunt for her new Rotary home almost immediately. She landed in Glendale, AZ, and in 2023 accepted the role of Assistant Governor for D5495. While at SWPETS for AG in 2024, Adria decided to step up and get in line for Glendale Presidency for the 2025-26 year.

Adria is essentially retired, but keeps herself busy with Rotary, her leadership roles, and the Board for TRVFA. She owned her own business in CA for about ten years, doing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and as a Mobile Notary Public. For fun, she enjoys reading, hiking and paddleboarding. Adria is from Virginia Beach, VA, which is where all of her family lives, but Adria is not a fan of humidity and loves Arizona, and decided to make this her permanent home after losing her husband in August, 2021.
